Six citizens were recognized with awards at
Milan
town Supervisor Van Talmage’s State of the Town address on
February 12.
The Milan Town Supervisor’s award was given
to five citizens for outstanding service to the community. They are shown from left to
right: Sheila Margiotta, accepting on behalf of Ross Williams, Chair of
the Milan Comprehensive Plan Review Board; Assistant Chief Jeff Galm,
accepting for Milan Fire Chief Greg Becker who was recently named
Volunteer Fire Chief of the year for New York State by the State
association of Fire Chiefs; Jacqueline Reynolds chair of the Milan’s
recreation committee in recognition of her important service to Milan’s
youth, Town Supervisor Van Talmage; Sheila Buff, chair of the
Conservation Advisory Council; and Loren Kingman, Planning Board
Chair.

Bill Gallagher received a four-star award from New York State Office of Real
Property Services for keeping the town at 100%
valuation.
