REMINDER: New Burning Regulations As of October 14th  you will no longer need a burning permit to burn brush (downed limbs and branches less than six inches in diameter and eight feet in length).  You will no longer be able to burn leaves or paper or use a burn barrel and there will be no burning between March 15th and May 15th.

02/01/10 The Dutchess County Department of Health will be holding a rabies clinic at the Bowdoin Park Community Center, located at 85 Sheafe Road, Town of Poughkeepsie, on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 11 am to 3 pm. The clinic is free to all Dutchess County residents ($10 per pet for out of county attendees) and is open to dogs, cats, and ferrets that are at least 3 months of age.  Dogs must be on a leash and cats and ferrets must be in carriers.
